Viewing Suicide Through A Glass Darkly

By: Janet Britton

First Name: Rochelle
Country: United States Of America

I am impressed! The story is very sad, but to see your reliance on Christ to help heal your pain is comforting to me. I hope the families involved have recovered and realized the life Ron lived is not lost but will live on in their memories. Go Mrs.Britton!! :)

This tragic story needs to be shared with others. It is all part of the world's frightening reality and I believe it will give people emotional comfort and a new light of looking at the tragedies of this world.

It is a sad thing to happen when you lose a close friend. I lost a good friend in Howard Broughton due to an illness and it is hard to deal with reality. This story inspires me to enjoy every moment of life and not take it for granted because it could be the last time you see your friend or family.

Such tough, heart wrenching subject but it was handled realistically and with compassion. Thank you for sharing.

Very well thought out and written. It makes one realize that we all are liable for what we alone do and not the actions of another. We answer to God only for ourselves. Informative and interesting.

Sometimes we need to remember the happiness we have in our lives.

Well written essay. This essay is unfortunately timely, and demonstrates in so many ways how we lack communication and understanding of one another, even for those we so dearly love.

Amazing that one can finish reading an essay about someone's suicide with a sense of hope and comfort of God's love for us.

This is another story that will help many individuals dealing with the same tragedies. It is a topic that is so overlooked and yet so often people must deal with this reality. I think this has great potentenial to be beneficial to many people suffering the tragedy of suicide.

I like very much that you are letting all voice to be heard. Even those that speak from hate. Let us all pray they do not have their way. America is full of good people and should not be blamed for so much bad.

Walking On The Sun In A Snowstorm

By: Sergio Burns

First Name: Miriam
Country: United Kingdom (Great Britain)

I think Sergio is quite simply a fantastic writer. His pace, his imagination, sometimes surreal, sometimes spiritual, sometimes funny, sometimes gritty and real is gripping. Quite easily one of the best writers in contemporary literature.

Good writing. Particularly enjoyed the use of language. When are we going to get the next story!

First Name: Leah
Country: United States of America

Very well written indeed, with a shocker of an ending! Although on reflecting, would want some explanation of how identification was made. (But that's a quibble. I thought it excellent!)

I really enjoyed this well written piece by the very talented Mr. Burns. His characters are believable and his style unique. Excellent to see him back.

A truly compelling piece. Rings more of actual experience than fiction. And I'll just bet the young fella grew up with a fascination of monsters. Tis the season

Very well writen, riveting in places. Pace is a bit uneven, but effective. Odd to find out that I'm a type, but flattering. This is the sort of writing I wish I could do. Bravo.

I loved this story. It was funny and sad in fact, and I also liked the fact that the story went full circle. The first word "Alive" is the last word of the end sentence, very clever. Really enjoyed this. Thanks

I read this as soon as I came home. I'm glad I did.
You've validated many things I've learned in the last 15 years of my life. I'm at a crossroads right now so there is a conscious choice going on for me. After years of preparation it's only now that I finally have started putting many of these ideas together. But there is a long way left to go. The further I move in this direction is the more I realize how far it really is and the more I see how few people will even try much less succeed in following the pathways.

First Name: Jeanne
Country: United States of America

Dear Author, I completely enjoyed your work. It made me think of what is going on now with all these businesses cooking their books to raise stock prices, and government lying to us about things. The interrelationship of all things was brought home to me in a dream I had many years ago. If you don't mind I will share bits of it with you. I was given a tour of history and told that in the beginning energy was created by two sources the sun and water. These elements then created grass from which man harnessed the energy of animals like oxen to create power. As man discovered fossil fuel this sun - water connection was lost and the air filled with garbage which man had to breath. The dream ended by saying that when we returned to sun and water all would be well on earth and that we must never create energy from any source we can not consume in our body because our body will consume any energy source we create. I think that might be part of what you are saying. Keep on making us think and look deeper. It was very nice to find your work.
