This story was uplifting as well as a harsh reality to some ways of life in the 50's and 60's. Thank you for having the desire to write of such things usually left unsaid.

Maybe I should not pass comment but I love this story. I shall ask the donkeys what they think, it will proably be a rather loud Hee Haw of approval.

What a nice story. I enjoyed it and can really picture the stable with the mulling telling the youngsters the story. Well written, very graphic.

This really is a charming story. The perfect addition to cookies for Santa and carrots for Reindeer. A new tradition for Christmas Eve.
The Dream Eternal
By: Katrina Smith-Robson
First Name:Janice
Country: The United States of America
My God, I just loved this story. It was one of the best love stories I have ever read, and that is all I read. Not so much a romance story as the way life really is and what we all hope to find and so seldom do. But, the characters in this story each find it in such different ways. This really should be published as a book, I think it would be a bestseller.

What a read! I enjoyed it a great deal. What an account of a woman being released and being fulfilled. I loved all of it! That's what sex is about! I would of loved to have been the basis for writing this story, as I love women rather than girls.
First Name:Gibby

A really beautiful story.

This was a wonderful trip back in time. The author is very gifted. May I say that I enjoyed both of your Christmas stories very much. I have printed them out and will continue to share them with my children as they grow older. Might this be a spot I could thank all of the authors for their efforts.
The Runaway Horse
By: Jordon Thorn, age 8
First Name:Aunt Debby
Country: United States of America
What a wonderful talent you have for telling a story! I was very worried for Sara as I read the story and thrilled that she found Vanessa! It also had a good twist in it with the other horse that looked just like her. It was a story that kept me reading to see what happened and that's what's important! Keep writing and sharing it with us!
Two Days In Japan

I truly enjoyed this lovely remembrance. I lived in Japan for a few years and I seem to remember Nara as the site of a sacred hear of deer. I could have it confused, but I do remember the Cherry Blosssom season. It was nice to be able to join the author on her vacation. Thanks for the memories.

Good descriptions. Felt it was a little too personal and could have been improved with more descriptions of the people and their culture.
First Name:Robert
Country:The United States of America
Loved your story. Just the right mix of people and places to fire the imagination.
First Name:Dianne

Wow, your story is wonderful. It gives me more courage to travel alone. I've never stayed in Hostels, probably an aversion I picked up because my mother stayed in Hostels and her experience was always tainted. This is a good site, it give exposure for authors - so not only are you an experienced solo world traveler, but also an author - ver impressive. I've never been to Japan, any coountry where English is not the primary language makes me uncomfortable, I suppose I should travel and experience more. Thank you for a very interesting, well written and inspiring story.
